Unity Cares is waiting to support you and to connect you with other Pastoral Care services, but
we need to know when a need arises...so just Let Us Know!
If you are in need of support, or would like your church family to know of some event in your life,
call the Unity Cares voicemail and leave a confidential message. Messages are checked and responded

Volunteer Openings
Get involved with Unity Cares! Share your gifts with our Unity Christ Church
community. Volunteers are currently needed for the following teams:
Cards - Write a personal note in a card when someone in our community is experiencing a loss,
illness or other personal struggle. Cards and postage are provided.
Visits - Accompany a Prayer Chaplain during a home or hospital visit. Provide
compassion and additional presence.
Knitting with a higher purpose! - Knit love, healing, hope and community into prayer shawls
that are provided to our community during a Minister or Prayer Chaplain visit or to others in
times of prayer need. Training, patterns and yarn provided.
Memorial Services Team Lead - Team Lead needed to organize and provide direction to
hospitality volunteers (reception set-up, clean up, greeting, organizing food brought in
by the family or a caterer, etc.) when memorial services are held in our sanctuary. The
team provides a loving presence during a very difficult time for a family. Looking for someone
with daytime flexibility, organizational and leadership skills.
